The name Jaguars is derived from the native American Word YAGUAR, which means “he who kills with one leap”(National Geographic®). It is the biggest cat in the Americas. The Jaguar’s presence extends throughout much of the Americas: from the Southwestern United States to Mexico in North America, across much of Central America, and south to Paraguay and northern Argentina in South America. We use the original name YAGUAR as a tribute to our American ancestors since the jaguar has featured prominently in the mythology of numerous Native American cultures. It is also an excellent example of well-rounded athleticism (jaguars swim, run and climb).

Since our club was founded in 2019, Yaguars has been able to offer the following activities to our members and Niagara Region Residents:

  • Advanced Mathematics Class
  • Basketball and Futsal
  • English Writer’s Craft Club
  • French Help for Beginners Club
  • Origami Club
  • Programming Class
  • Recreational Futsal League
  • VEX Robotics Club

  • Café Latino

Yaguars is excited to see how we continue in the future by building a healthy and active community! Thank you for your support.
